Children learn best through play. Our Child Psychologists integrate a variety of creative and effective therapeutic modalities into session to help children and teens feel heard, supported, and important. Play, sand and art-based therapy are often utilized to keep children engaged and motivated. When working with teens, we meet them where they are at and prioritize establishing a positive relationship before diving into emotional topics. Our goal is to help children feel safe enough to process their emotional experiences so that they can heal and grow. Sessions often involve teaching and practicing practical tools for emotional and behavioural regulation, self-esteem, confidence, social skills, and problem solving.
Our team highly values the involvement of parents/caregivers in a child’s therapeutic care. We will work alongside you to support you with your child’s optimal emotional and psychological development.

Our Child Psychologists are highly trained in treating symptoms of ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Learning Disorders. We aim to help children learn valuable tools to improve focus and attention, behavioural regulation, and adaptability to change. We will also liaise with your child’s teacher to recommend effective school accommodations to optimize learning.
Social development is a pivotal aspect of childhood. We help children learn skills to build and maintain friendships, create healthy boundaries, and improve positive communication with peers and family members.
We believe in empowering children to safely express their emotions by teaching them helpful tools and skills that can be used at home, school and anywhere else big emotions show up. This often involves learning how to tame anxiety and worry, melt frustration and anger, and increase calmness and happiness.
When children are able to process their experiences, express their emotions and learn coping skills in a supportive space, increased self-esteem and confidence is fostered. They will learn how to tackle new challenges, and reduce negative self-talk and worry, so that they can engage in meaningful activities with their peers.
All parents want the best for their children, although there is no handbook for raising a resilient child! Our Child Psychologists are here to guide parents through tough parenting situations in order to promote secure attachment and healthy connection using strategies supported by current child development and neurobiological research.
Our compassionate and skilled Psychological Counselling Team is dedicated to helping you find joy again. This may involve gaining greater self-awareness, healing the core of your issues, and learning new coping skills to manage life’s stressors. You will always be met with respect, acceptance and non-judgement.
