I have been providing mental health counselling to children, adolescents, and parents for the last 6 years. I absolutely love what I do and I believe that, with the right supports, all children and adolescents can participate meaningfully at home, school, and in the community. Common concerns that I help with include: ADHD, anxiety, self-harm, depression, oppositional or defiant behaviours, anger, emotional regulation, and parent-child relationship issues.
I’ve been interested in working with children, adolescents, and parents for as long as I can remember. I completed my Bachelor of Arts with a major in psychology at the University of Alberta, where I took a keen interest in developmental psychology. Following that, I completed my Master of Counselling from City University of Seattle- Edmonton Campus. My practicum placement was completed at a psychiatric day program, where my love of working with families was affirmed.
You and your child will appreciate my openness, sense of humour, and playfulness. Our relationship will be collaborative, with you creating the goals you’d like to achieve during our time together.
