Since becoming a Yoga Teacher, I have furthered my education with mindfulness practices, Trauma Informed Yoga, Meditation, Yoga Nidra, and currently working on yoga for children and mindfulness meditation and eating habits. I believe a body in motion will continue to stay in motion throughout a lifetime, helping us learn to navigate changes through our lives as they arise. Learning to focus and breathe through these movements in a yoga practice, helps us to come back to ourselves more quickly and find peace…stillness when we need to find it.
Outside of work….as I said above, “A body in motion, will stay in motion.’ You will find me spending time with my husband and bonus children when they visit, playing with our puppy or two cats, gardening, baking, or cooking up a storm in the kitchen. I am always learning, so those times when my husband isn’t at home, I am watching seminars on our ever-changing knowledge of the body, or doing yoga, or maybe planning the next
adventure as a globe trotter.
I look forward to meeting you on your mat and sharing a yoga practice with you.
